Spirit of the Swanee Music ParkGator fans everywhere, it’s time to kick off the new season for the National Champions and you can do it at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP)! That’s right, the first Gator Chomp Romp is set for Aug. 21-22 at the SOSMP with a weekend of games, meet and greets with Gator greats, Gator Mascots Albert and Alberta and the Gator dance team the Dazzlers, making of the YouTube Music Video ‘ARE YOU READY FOR THE GATORS’ (a message from the Gator Nation to the world), poker run on golf carts, pep rally and Gator Rally along with Mike Mullis of Gator Chomp song fame and his band, WhooWhee and six other bands. Mike co-wrote words and music for the song “Gator Chomp,” a rollicking song about the University of Florida Football Program. Gator Chomp was a licensed collegiate product sold throughout Florida and at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Gift Shop. Other bands playing for the event include William Scott and Silverado, Woodard Johnson Band, Orange Avenue, Prestiege and more! There will also be vendors.

It will soon be time to gather the orange and blue and head out to the SOSMP for this huge tailgate party and BIG weekend with other Gator fans to kick off the new Gator season! GATOR FANS, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS EVENT SO YOU CAN GET READY TO CHEER ON YOUR TEAM!
