Currently starring as “Frank’s One Love” in the new hit, “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” at San Francisco’s Marines’ Memorial Theatre, multi-talented singer, producer and writer, Lisa Dawn Miller takes the stage at The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko (222 Mason St., San Francisco, CA) on Saturday, June 12 for a special, one night only performance: “Miller Sings Miller ” .

Celebrating the songbook of her father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller, the show will include a medley of Ron’s hits, including standards like “For Once In My Life,” “Touch Me In The Morning,” “Heaven Help Us All,” “Yester-me, Yester-you, Yesterday,” “A Place In The Sun,” “I’ve Never Been A Woman Before,” “If I Could,” and “I’ve Never Been To Me.” Lisa will also share some of her late father’s newly discovered, never-heard-before gems.

“For every ‘For Once In My Life,’ there were a hundred songs that no one has ever heard …all just as beautiful…all standards, waiting to be born,” she says. “In my lifetime, I would like to see my father take his place amongst the great writers of our time. Most people don’t make the connection that one guy wrote ALL of these songs. I want to preserve my father’s legacy as a songwriter, a father, a friend. I’d like to do this not only as an artist and producer, but mostly as a believer in his dream…a dream of a brighter tomorrow for everyone.”

Lisa first performed her father’s music in her critically acclaimed show entitled “I Want To Come Back As A Song: Ron Miller, A Knight of Lyrics” in December, 2007 in New York City at The Metropolitan Room, with return engagements in 2008 and 2009.

Linda Amiel Burns of Cabaret Scenes/NY wrote: “Lisa Dawn Miller’s show at The Metropolitan Room in New York City was one of the best shows that I have ever seen. Very rarely do you get to see a singer cast a magic spell on stage and have the audience in the palm of her hand. Aside from being an incredible singer with a strong belt and a sweet, creamy vocal quality, Lisa has passion, sincerity, warmth and a great stage persona.”
