Maryland Based Indie Pop Rockers NUKE THE SOUP Debut Music Video for Insightful New Single Yin And Yang

Ocean-inspired Indie group Nuke the Soup is releasing the official music video on YouTube for their catchy yet profound single “Yin and Yang,” a song exploring how the most complimentary of relationships are sometimes filled with frustration. The track can be found on Nuke the Soup’s surf-inspired debut CD, Make Waves Not War.

The video was made by Los Angeles-based director George Rausch, “Yin and Yang,” was filmed in multiple locations in California including Venice and the beautiful Kenneth Hahn Park in Culver City Rausch captures Nuke the Soup’s lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Mark Davison encapsulating emotional contrast preached in the song. A promotional campaign is also underway with HIP Video Promo for placement on multiple music and video sites.

Nuke the Soup made their debut at Delaware’s Dewey Beach Music Conference in 2006. The band’s first single “Filled with Dread” was one of the most added radio tracks on FMQB’s Triple A chart its first week out. The eleven track album features a host of top flight East Coast musicians (Davison, keyboardist Brian Simms, bassist Mike Mennell, guitarist Rennie Grant) as well as drum legend Chester Thompson, who has played with Weather Report, Frank Zappa and on and off with Genesis for more than 30 years.
