This video is so sad. I would like to find this man so I could send money to help him and his family. Losillë

Austin’s premiere indie rock band One-Eyed Doll was recently en route from Abilene to a show in Forth Worth, Texas, when they spotted a thick cloud of smoke in the distance spiraling up to the sky. Curious as to what was going on, frontwoman Kimberly Freeman and her band members Jason Rufuss Sewell (a.k.a. “Junior”) and “Mr. Swimmy Socks” took a detour towards the scene. There they found a Crude Oil big rig tipped over and in flames, with its driver displaced.

Kimberly and crew quickly came to the driver’s aid, offering him water and air conditioning to escape the heat while the emergency response crew battled the flames, as well as the use of a cell phone to connect with his wife.

If the story sounds unreal and straight out of the movies, see for yourself as the band caught the whole ordeal on video and posted it on their YouTube.

Named the #1 rock band in by Reverb Nation and multiple winners at the SXSW Music Awards for Best New Band, Best Punk Band, Best Metal Band, Best Goth Band, Best Female Vocalist and more. One-Eyed Doll has been touring in support of the release of their latest album, Break. One-Eyed Doll is giving fans the opportunity to name their own price when purchasing Break, allowing them to pay whatever amount they can afford, even zero.
