CECI Organization Honors Avi Arad With Lifetime Achievement Award

Avi Arad was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Jon Voight on Sunday evening, September 26th, 2010, at a charity event held by the American Friends of The Citizens Empowerment Center in Israel(CECI).

At this event, the 5 top CECI Ambassador Project winning students from Israel and an award-winning teacher were honored for their significant educational achievements .

The dinner gala entitled From Vision to Reality was held for over 500 guests in the Grand Ballroom of the Kodak Theater Complex. The MC was Noah Tishbi and Cantor Arianne Brown of Sinai Temple who Performed the
National Anthem.

Among the guests were: Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, Beny Alagem, Amy Pascal, Sony Picture Entertainment, Sam Nazarian, SBE Entertainment Group, Jimmy Delshad, Mayor of Beverly Hills, Howard Rosenman, Daniel Mani, Mani Brothers, Benjy Oberman, Shaun Toub, David Dian, Kyle Richards Umansky and the cast of Beverly Hills Housewives.

Event Co-Chairs were:  Adele and Beny Alagem, Dora and Neil Kadisha, Parviz and Pouran Nazarian and Cheryl and Haim Saban.

The importance of education and leadership for the next generation was highlighted throughout the course of the evening.
