Michael McMillian who plays creepy Rev. Steve Newlin on HBO’s wildly successful show “TRUE BLOOD” graced the Long Beach Comic Con with his presence Saturday, October 30, to promote the latest issue of his comic book Lucid.  The second issue of the four part miniseries Lucid will be put on stands  November 10th.  The comic, currently set for four issues, mixes the spy genre with urban magic.  McMillian and Archaia comics partner Zachary Quinto (Heroes, Star Trek) boast that Lucid “is not like any other comic on the market”.

With nothing but smiles and laughs, McMillian sat down and autographed a stack of advance copies of the second issue for those in attendance.  When asked as to which direction this issue might go in and where it might continue, McMillian smiled and explained that we are all in for plenty of surprises.  Check your local comic retailler on November 10th to pick up your own copy of Lucid.
