Costas Mandylor (Saw 3D, Beowulf) appeared at the Long Beach Comic Con on Saturday October 30th to promote the last chapter of the Saw series, “SAW 3D”.  With the film being released in theatres just the day before he didn’t comment too much on the movie itself but reassured us that the audience is in for more thrills, chills and interesting new traps.

Props from the movie sat in a glass case just feet from the actor, allowing the guests to view the iconic pieces of the gruesome, horrifying and memorable moments from the series’ history.  Items include: a severed foot autographed by Costas Mandylor (Detective Hoffman) , Shawnee Smith (Amanda) , James Van Patten (Dr. Heffner) and Tanedra Howard (Simone); the saw from the bathroom seen in Saw 3; a tape with the words “Play Me” written on it from the movie Saw 3; a recorder autographed by Shawnee Smith (Amanda) from the movie Saw 2 and much more.

The line to meet Mandylor formed hours before he arrived, eventually wrapping itself around the booth in which he would be signing.  With great pleasure greeted each fan that walked through the autograph line, personalizing and taking photos with those who asked.
