The Gromble

Nominated as ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2011 OC Music Awards, rising So Cal underground pop band The Gromble has maintained a steady stream of national press after signing with ground breaking indie label 37 Records. The Gromble recently interviewed with L.A.’s alternative radio station, KROQ-FM, profiled on CBS Radio’s WNEW and music blog Indies and the Underground. The band’s next feature with local outlet Tonality Magazine will incorporate exclusive live footage with an interview. The Gromble’s most recent achievements as an indie band is earning significant airplay on Clear Channel’s popular music site, iHeartRadio.com. The band’s self-titled EP will be entered in the station’s rotation in the coming weeks, among such mainstream artists as Lady Gaga, My Chemical Romance and P!nk. In addition, internet radio site, Earbits, will also enter the band’s EP in their vast music database.

The quirky five-piece whose moniker comes from ‘90s Nickelodeon hit cartoon, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, has also been granted a Tuesday residency at dining hotspot La Cave in Costa Mesa, Calif. Starting Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m., the band will serve as live entertainment at the club every week.

After conquering prime territory in Southern California, the band will continue on in that fashion hitting the stage this summer with OC bands; The Devious Means, The Orange Effect, Honeypie and Skee and the Motion Detectors at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, Calif.
