“True Blood” stars Kristin Bauer-Van Straten, Alexander Skarsgard, Kevin Alejandro, Nelsan Ellis, Deborah Ann Woll, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin joined creator Alan Ball for an over-full ballroom at the 2011 Comic Con for a discussion of the current season of the show.

The panel began with clips of what to expect on the coming season and without giving away any spoilers, the audience was clearly loving it!

One of the big storylines this season is Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) memory loss.  Skarsgard says that he thinks that the clothes that Sookie gave him to wear was probably something Hoyt had left at the house at some point.  Even though it’s an insanely dorky outfit, Ball said that Skarsgard can still make it look “insanely hot”.

Ball was also asked if we would find out this season what the deal was with Arlene’s baby.  “Yes we will find out” says Ball “and it will be insanely creepy”.

Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) says that while Sookie is basically half-innocent “There is the part of her that has really dirty vampire and werewolf sex”, which brought a huge response from the audience.

One of the attendees asked Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) to call her “Hooka” and he obliged, much to the audience’s delight.  Skarsgard also delighted the crowd when one attendee told him she loved him and he said that while he was very fond of her that he felt that love was a big commitment “But there are possibilities”.

After the panel ended, fans rushed the stage as Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin and Alexander Skarsgard signed autographs for the fans.  Unfortunately, the response from the fans was so intense that they knocked over the barricade between the audience and the stage and some people got knocked about.  Comic Con security and staff had a fit and were trying to corral people out of the room, but the “True Blood” folks took it in stride. “We’re used to this”, remarked one of the shows producers.
