Elvis Tribute Artist Competition Jan. 25-27 Suwannee Music Park

SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA –

Elvis fans, it is your time to enjoy a weekend of Elvis tributes from some of the best tribute artists in the nation! The annual Ted “Teddy MacElvis” McMullen I’ll Remember You Elvis Tribute Artist contest Jan. 25-27 will bring dozens of Elvis Tribute Artists to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fla to compete!

Among those expected are Michael Hoover and his wife, Bobby, who own The Images of the King Competition and hold the World Championship Competition in Memphis every year in August. The “I Remember You Elvis Tribute Artist Contest” operates under the auspices of the Images of the King and is a preliminary contest of the Images of the King World Championship.

Michael Hoover will perform during this spectacular weekend and assist Ted McMullen with the program.

The big weekend actually gets underway Thursday night with Ted McMullen’s regular karaoke night in the Music Hall where the audience may perform. You never know who might be present to perform or who is looking for talent! Admission is free.

Friday night, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. begins the karaoke party with contestants entertaining their fans throughout the evening in the Music Hall. Admission Friday night is $10 per person at the door. All food and drinks extra.

Saturday, Jan. 26 is the big day with competition beginning at 1 p.m. in the Music Hall. The winner of this contest will receive a cash prize and be automatically entered into the “Images of the King” contest to compete for World Champion. There will be a break in the afternoon with final competition beginning at 6 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 27, at 8 a.m., Ted McMullen and contestants will entertain with gospel music in the Music Hall. Free admission. All food and drinks extra.

TICKETS

GENERAL ADMISSION

– General admission Saturday for adults or children is $25 per person, regardless of when you arrive. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the SOSMP at 386-364-1683.

RESERVED SEATING

– Reserved seating for adults or children on Saturday will be $40 per person regardless of when you arrive. Reserved seating tickets must be purchased prior to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. All food and drinks extra for general admission and reserved. Groups should purchase tickets at the same time to guarantee seating together. To purchase reserved seating, call the SOSMP at 386-364-1683 in advance.

TO COMPETE –

If you are an Elvis Tribute Artist and would like to compete, you may call Marcie at 904-966-2972. Entry fee for an adult is $50, youth are free. If you wish to enter, you must do so by Jan. 15 in order to get your biography and photo into the program.
