The pilot episode of the new series The Flash was held in Hall H on Saturday the 26th. The pilot covered the origin story of Barry Allen becoming the Flash through typical S.T.A.R. Lab malfunctions and a dash of lightning, bringing him super speed. The downside, however, is that it also caused other “meta-humans” to start showing their powers as well. The pilot episode encompassed Barry Allen and his life before the Flash and then allows us to begin the journey with him as he finds out his new found potential.

The cast and crew not only appeared at an autograph session that was meant to be only a hour long, but they stayed for nearly two hours to sign for all those fans in attendance that had a wristband. Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells), John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen), Jesse L Martin (Detective Joe West) and executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg were there signing and meeting fans, only to rush to the screening to stay for an extended 30 minutes for a Q&A afterwards. The Flash airs on CW  on October 7th.
