Saturday night of the 2015 San Diego Comic Con had more choices of things to do than any other day of the convention.  One of the most popular events every year is the Nerdist podcast hosted by Chris Hardwick which allows fans lucky enough to score a ticket the chance to see some of their faves being interviewed and interacting with the audience.  This year Nerdist hosted two podcasts, the second of which featured Tom Hiddleston and Director Guillermo Del Toro talking about their upcoming film, Crimson Peak and a host of other topics.

Tom Hiddleston, who is always a fan favorite was taking quite the ribbing from his director Guillermo Del Toro who would comment each time Hiddleston would answer a question with an “awwwww”, eliciting laughter from Hiddleston and the audience.  It is quite evident that the two really enjoyed working together and share a great camaraderie.

Speaking about their film “Crimson Peak”, which opens in October, Del Toro called it “not eye candy, but eye protein.  Because it’s beautiful but nutritious.”  Hiddleston was quite proud of the film as well, calling it “one of the most beautiful films I’ve ever seen, as well as the most beautiful one I’ve ever been in”.

Hiddleston also spoke about his upcoming Hank Williams biopic “I Saw The Light”, where he plays the tragic country star.  He sings and plays guitar in the film and delighted the Nerdist audience with his Southern accent.  The film opens in the U.S. in November.
