Rising country singer Marthia Sides attended the Alabama Music Hall Of Fame 13th Induction Banquet and Awards Show on March 25 at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Montgomery where she mingled with fellow rising country singer Jamey Johnson and country music legends William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys and George Jones.

Marthia recently announced her boycott of Toyota when her very own 2010 Prius started having the same acceleration problems that many Americans are experiencing and still does after being fixed under the recall.

Ironically, her new single “Some Assembly Required” mentions Toyota with the line, “I sure wish I had a new Toyota as a reference to problem-free assembly, in her playful song about trying but failing to find the elusive perfect man. Marthia has pulled the line from the version that was released to country radio on March 15.

Marthia will hit the road in mid-April to visit country radio stations in support of “Some Assembly Required.”
