Fans of ABC’s show “FLASHFORWARD” are mobilizing to show the world that they are willing to fight for their show.

The show, which began with a global event in which the entire world blacked out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and saw their future stars Joe Fiennes, John Cho, Dominic Monaghan and Jack Davenport.  Right before the amazing season finale, ABC announced that the show would not be coming back for a second season.

The legions of fans for this show are not taking the cancellation lying down. In addition to a massive letter writing campaign to ABC execs that included friendship bracelets like the one worn by Joe Fiennes on the show, on Thursday, June 10th, fans in cities across the world including Los Angeles, New York, Detriot will be staging a “blackout” of their own.  They will gather at ABC studios and ABC affiliates with signs and props and will stage a 2 minute and 17 second blackout.  Similar letter writing and demonstration campaigns have worked in the past to bring back other shows from cancellation. Will it work for Flash Forward?  Stay tuned to find out.

Do you want to be part of the blackout in your city?  Just go to the facebook page set up for the event at http://www.facebook.com/Flashforwardburbankjune10th for more details.
