Gator Chomp artist Mike Mullis will be livening up the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) this weekend when he teaches line dancing and performs Friday, July 9. Saturday, July 10, the Rusty Groove Band will take over the Music Hall with more live country music for listening or dancing.
Mike is famous for his Gator Chomp song that has become the anthem of the Gator Nation over the years, including his recent update on this song he wrote. Mike will have the house rocking before the night ends with his wonderful brand of country music. Don’t miss this event July 9 with Mike Mullis where you can enjoy a night out with dinner and beverages, listen to great music or get out there on that dance floor and swing your sweetie!
New band Rusty Groove has already developed a large group of fans at the SOSMP where the band has entertained several times already. This band will take over the Music Hall July 10 for an evening of great entertainment. And, don’t forget your dancing shoes for either night!
The Music Hall opens July 9-10 at 6 p.m. with music beginning at 8 p.m. The Music Hall remains open until 1 a.m., with the SOS Cafe and Restaurant serving dinner until 10 p.m. The SOS Café and Restaurant is always open during special events featuring delicious food from the menu and specials along with a variety of beverages.
The SOSMP is located at 3076 95th Drive 4.5 miles north of Live Oak, Fl off US 129 at the famous Suwannee River. The park is 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 and 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 off US 129.
