GI Jams, the music network that spotlights active Military soldiers and Veteran who are talented musicians, is also a charity network and a community that allows Military bands and artists of all branches and rank to sign up for free and create a profile to showcase their vast array of genres of music, videos, bio material, for which fans and new comers are able to directly download music at 99 cents a song. 100% of the proceeds go to the artists. Since its start in 2009, the community has really grown considerably to hundreds of Military musicians and thousands of fans, that the demand for a compilation album was requested. Thus the creation of GI Jams: Vol 1 The Original Music of Our U.S. Military Artists , 14 tracks from 8 of GI Jams’ most popular artists highlighting country, rock and alternative music.
