The "Ghost Adventures" Crew

The stars of the hit Travel Channel show “Ghost Adventures” were on hand in San Diego doing double duty during Comic Con this year.  Besides 3 days of highly successful autograph signings, the trio filmed one of their lockdown investigations at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Restaurant in Old Town San Diego.  The location, widely considered by the paranormal community to be the most active in San Diego, is reportedly haunted by the spirit of a little girl and perhaps the wife of the former owner, Juan Lorenzo Bandini.  The episode is schedule to air in September.

Comic Con is, of course, all about the fans.  Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin (who make up the “Ghost Adventures” Crew) delighted fans by hosting 3 days of meet and greets and autograph signings.  The staff at the 2011 Comic Con was in no way prepared for the huge turnout of fans.  The signings were held in the Sails pavilion – a huge greenhouse-type ballroom upstairs at the San Diego Convention Center.  Hundreds of fans turned up each day and the staff and security had their hands full trying to keep up with the demand of folks trying to get a glimpse of their favorite Paranormal Investigators.

The trio signed autographs for over 2 hours and met with fans young and old.   Fans brought gifts for the guys, including holy water, sage and protective necklaces causing Bagans to tweet “Am I possessed?”.  Many of the fans waited in line for over 2 hours just for a chance to meet their faves.  Nick, Zak and Aaron all said that they have the greatest fans in the world and seemed genuinely excited to meet everyone at Comic Con.
