Doctor Who’s Matt Smith Leaves The TARDIS

Idris is not upset she know  the Doctor will be back in the TARDIS soon.  Matt Smith has signed up for another seven episodes of Doctor Who.

Seemingly unable to escape time travel, Smith will be starring in a BBC film about the 1948 Olympic rowing team Bert Bushnell and Dickie Burnell.

The drama tells the story of their relationship and how the two men from different backgrounds overcame their class differences to claim victory on the water.

Bushnell’s daughter Sue said she was looking forward to watching the drama when it comes on the BBC to coincide with next year’s Olympics in London.  She said: ‘It will be very strange to see my father being portrayed by an actor, especially one who plays Doctor Who!’
