Author Heather Armstrong is well known from the website www.dooce.com, which is considered to be the most popular autobiographical blog on the web. She is also a bestselling author of “It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I Had a Baby, a Breakdown, and a Much Needed Margarita”. Armstrong is returning to print on April 3rd with her latest release “Dear Daughter: The Best of the Dear Leta Letters”. Armstrong began writing letters to her daughter when Leta was just 8 weeks old. Over the course of the next five years, she wrote a letter every month to her daughter which talk about the milestones and little “funnies” that happened in their lives over the course of that month. The book is both touching and comical, and Armstrong’s style is very candid as she shares her feelings of love and of sometimes being overwhelmed as a mother. Any parent can relate to Armstrong’s trials and can share a moment of “hey, I went through the same thing!” when they read “Dear Daughter”.
A great book for any parent or expectant parents out there, “Dear Daughter” by Heather Armstrong will be available in your local bookstores or at www.amazon.com starting April 3rd, 2012.
I’m a mother too and I would really love to read this book.
