David Purdy

Graphic Designer and Game Stop employee David Purdy has been a busy guy.  Not content to just do his own work at his job, he has been busy making game logos for his store – out of duct tape.  No you heard that right…..duct tape.  David got inspired to make the designs and has now been featured on his company’s facebook page, articles and all over the internet.  Shows where a little ingenuity can take you.

CFM News was curious about David and his logos and we sat down for a little chat to find out what make him start doing duct tape logos? “I always loved making art and I was on Reddit, of course, and saw someone make a duct tape piece (of art).” says Purdy,  “I was like “Oh Man, I want to do that too!” so I talked to my boss lady and she talked to her boss and they said I could so I did it!”

When most people see David’s designs, they can’t believe that they are actually made out of duct tape, so we wondered what the construction process was like.

“I make the logos in sections – the easiest way is to layer it.  I pre-draw the “logo” and start cutting it.  Then when I go to work, I lay down the tape, then lay down the stencil and start cutting with an x-acto blade.  3 and a half hours later, it’s done” says David.

Now that he has gained some notoriety from his designs, is Purdy planning on doing any more logos?  “I will be working on an Assassins Creed 3 logo which will be much bigger, a Halo 4, Aliens and many more!”

Author Jennie Ketcham

Jennie Ketcham is not a name that is familiar to most people.  Some would recognize her as her “alter-ego”, porn star Penny Flame.  Very few people know the actual person behind the persona.

Growing up in a family rife with divorce and drug and alcohol abuse, Ketcham found herself in the world of adult entertainment – and deep into dependence on substances, sex and denial.  After signing on for VH1’s “Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew”, she thought she was going to be able to coast through the process and gain some much-needed publicity for her new Webcam studio.  What she found was recovery and the person that she had lost along the way.

The book is written in a very frank, no-hold-barred style.  It’s very graphic in describing the behavior in all of her addictions (sex, drugs and alcohol) and offers a detailed glimpse into the thought processes of someone struggling with addiction.

While most of us might think that we would have nothing in common with someone who made their living in the porn industry, you might be surprised.  Anyone who had a rough home life growing up will be able to identify with the emotions behind Jennie’s description of scenes from her childhood.  And certainly anyone who has ever struggled with any kind of addiction will cringe when they hear her description of day long binges and memory loss.

With a great intro by Dr. Drew, “I Am Jennie” is a very honest book and an easy read.  I think Ketchm’s story will help inspire people who might be struggling with their own demons to seek help.

The book is available now in bookstores and on in hardcover from Gallery Books.

Nathan Fillion

Fans of “Firefly” stood in line for hours, some lining up at early as 8pm Thursday July 12, to see the 10th  anniversary panel being held for the beloved television show. Those who did were not disappointed. Around 3am, for those too anxious to sleep, the fans received a pleasant surprise as Adam Baldwin (Who plays Jayne Cobb on the show) and Joss Whedon (the creator) walked the line greeting everyone.

Joss Whedon

Thousands of fans waited to see the whole crew and thousands more were turned away as Ballroom 20 hit its capacity by 9am.
The panel consisted of Jose Molina (Not pictured), Summer Glau, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Tim Minear, Joss Whedon, and Nathan Fillion .  It was a rollercoaster of emotions to all those who lucky enough to gain admission.  The cast and crew took everyone down memory lane as they shared stories of  how they all met and grew to care for each other. Whedon confirmed that Firefly was his favorite cast and crew and a secondary family to him.

Adam Baldwin

When questioned on other projects,  Whedon was the only one to comment.  He confirmed that Dr. Horrible 2 is in the works but would not comment on Avengers 2 at this time.

I am posting Facebook links because if I posted the photos my hosting company would cancel my account.

Part 1:  Facebook Turning Into Pornbook? Adults Only (18+) Pages Have Explicit Photos of Nude Children, Women and Genitalia

Two things to note:
1. There is a good possibility that writing about Facebook porn will cause my account to get canceled and as unhappy as that would make me I am still going to write these articles.
2. There really is a if you would like to check it out.

The pages in this article can be seen without logging into Facebook. My question to Facebook is why can’t these pages block younger people who are on Facebook and block them completely from anyone who has not liked the page?

Graphic porn started showing up in my Facebook timeline. I like a penis just as much as the next woman I just don’t want to see them in my timeline. Facebook is presented as a family company but has a huge pornography base that is getting bigger everyday. They  don’t seem to be able to do much to curb it. The same photos are being posted over and over by the same people. Facebook deletes a page, profile or group and the owner just starts over. Why can’t Facebook block the IP of people who post porn?

It is easy to start a porn page. Make a profile. Wait a month or so and start a page. Add an associated word like 18+, tit, boob, ass, sexy, girls, anal, porn stars or babies. The creepy thing about the baby search is that seem to be using the same photos and when you click on the owner’s profile you get a fake looking profile with more photos of children.  Common sense tells me that the same man owns several of the pages with baby photos. There is one prolific person that likes to type like this, “aDD mE nOw aS a frNds ND stARt a HOt RElashIoNshIP”

This is a typical page with bikinis, suggestive poses. These kinds of pages are everywhere on Facebook. Not what I would consider family friendly but Facebook has their own definition of that.
That page was started on May 13 of this year and has already gotten over 80,000 likes. Tits and asses are  big business on Facebook. The photos on this page do not break the terms of service and really aren’t very exciting. Keep you eye on it to see if graphic porn photos start showing up. My guess is, yes they will.

I report a lot of photos Facebook likes to send me periodic statements like this.
We have a strict “no nudity or pornography” policy. Any content that is inappropriately sexual will be removed. Before posting questionable content, be mindful of the consequences for you and your environment.  Facebook’s Policy

This page is pure hard core porn. I am talking penis in vagina and penis in the anus photos. This page was reported on July 1, 2012.
Rabia Kamal
Rabia Kamal has been up for a week after it was reported, Kaml shared Pooja Pathak‘s photo of a woman biting a nipple.  Pooja’s page is another full service porn site. No need to pay to see an attractive woman with huge penis just click on Pooja’s page.

The thing that confuses me most is why pages are allowed to stay up as long as they are. There is a page called “Tit” magazine where some of the most graphic porn gets posted. The page posts sexually suggestive photos and allows photos of explicit sex to stay on the page. Facebook will delete the graphic photos but the page remains.
Posted June 30
Posted June 30

This is their photo album that remains up no matter what shows up there.

Got your ass page deleted by Facebook? No problem, start another one with the same photos. It was started on May 22, 2012.
“Tits and Arse” has uploaded 325 photos! Shouldn’t this be a red flag to Facebook?
The owner does say that dots were added to stop deletion this time.

I don’t know why this page was deleted Lesbian Love but they have announced they are back.  The graphic porn is already being posted on the timeline.

This page Yourmother Spimp  is one that should have sent off alarms for Facebook it was formed in July and they have  uploaded over 300 pics of “hoes”.  If I can find these and figure out what is going on, why can’t Facebook?
This poor “hoe” has lost her nipple so her photo is OK by Facebook standards.

Why would Facebook delete a pornography page and allow the owner to remain on Facebook? Why isn’t the IP blocked?

“Tits and Arse” shared  Shontae Thompson‘s photo of a naked woman.  “Tits and Arse” also posted a photo of a woman being fingered.

Fingering and  masturbation seemed to be a gray area when you report sexual content on Facebook. Sometimes a hand in your pants will get it deleted sometimes is won’t.

Keith Owman came up in “People You Might Know”. His profile pic is of him holding his erect penis. I couldn’t see his face and lol nope, didn’t recognize the penis.   There seems to be no way to escape porn on Facebook.

Breasts can be shown if the nipple is covered with anything but a baby. A woman can be completely naked and a  tiny dot stops the photo from being removed.

Sexual exploitation of a child, whether it is a woman pretending to be a child or a child, it still pandering to pedophiles.
Facebook allows those pages. If the “little girl” is in bra and panties they won’t take the photos or page down.

This page has photos up that portray the person as very young. What is the difference between a young woman pretending to be a teenager and posting a photo of a teenager on Facebook?  Ask a pedophile.
There is always graphic pornography in this timeline and men post photos of children there. That disgusts me! This man Mdmorshedul Haque posted a photo of little girl above graphic porn. If you go to the photo and scroll down some of it is still there.  I asked him why he posted the pic and he did not respond. This girl does not break the Facebook TOS but I can’t understand why Facebook to allow this. This child and other children posted on that page are being exploited!
Teens big boobs site that should be deleted based on his name alone! Calling all pedophiles.
Ferney Ruiz has a man with his face in a woman’s crotch as his avatar, other photos AND photos of children. The photos of the children don’t break Facebook’s TOS so they can stay on the page. You can’t report them. It is creepy to see a sexually photo that he has reposted and then photos of him in bed with a child. If nothing else he using very bad judgement.

This profile LOS MEJORES ESTADOS has a photo of young teen boy who breaks my heart. The boy is in the shower nude. He looks very unhappy and he has a towel clutched in front of his genitals. This photo should not be up BUT it does not break the TOS for Facebook. That is cold-hearted.  I will not post the link to his photo.

ôñliñê Îñjôy Şêx wÎth gÎrlŞ 24 hôurŞ was created on June 28, 2012 and on July 8th had posted 63 photos. There is pornography on that page.  That page seems to be connected to  Î’m Löñèlý wÎtĦôut yôu, ÞlêãŞê côṃè Båck which likes to post photos that look like underage girls.

“Silent Hill Revelation:3D” Star Adelaide Clemens

Comic-Con has always been a plethora of video gamers, comic book enthusiasts and fans of Horror and Sci-Fi film fans.  What better place for the star and director of “Silent Hill Revelation: 3D” to discuss their upcoming film?

Based on the very popular video game, “Silent Hill” became of the most successful video game to film transitions in history.  It was natural that a sequel would be done, and star Adelaide Clemens and director Michael J. Bassett  held a press conference at the 2012 Comic-Con to share secrets from this eagerly awaited movie.

Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father,Christopher (Sean Bean), have been evading for years forces of a nature that she does not fully recognize. On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, plagued by nightmares and Christopher’s disappearance, Heather discovers that her presumed identity is false and her life’s origins too. This revelation leads her to an alternate dimension existing in Silent Hill, over which a cult led by Claudia Wolf (Carrie-Ann Moss) and the insane Leonard Wolf (Malcolm McDowell) holds power.

Director Michael J. Bassett

When asked how much of the world of “Silent Hill” viewers would have to know to  be able to keep up with this new film, director Bassett said ” None at all.  The whole point of this was that we created a sequel to the first movie, which continues the story of young Sharon Da Silva who, for reason explained in the movie becomes Heather Mason.  So it’s a sequel, it’s an adaptation of Silent Hill Game #3’s story – the mythology and that world and the ride that you go on.  But the truth of the matter is I had to make it a movie that completely stands alone.  If you know nothing about “Silent Hill” and you aren’t interested in mythology and have never played the games, this story works for you because it is basically about a strong young heroine who has to find the truth of herself.  So it works, hopefully-fingers crossed, on every level.”

Bassett also says that for this sequel “We didn’t use a lot of green screen.  We build the world of “Silent Hill” as much as we possibly could. Or we found an environment that we could apply that esthetic to.”

One of the most popular things in the first film was the scene where the ashes rained down.  So are we going to see something similar in this new film?  “You are going to see it in 3D” says Michael Bassett.  “It really is fantastic, because it’s slow.  3D really works when things are slow. The drifting of the ash, you watch it on the screen and you really are a little bit hypnotised by it.”

“3D I think personally goes hand in hand with the video game adaptation” says star Adelaide Clemens ” as an actor I kind of felt like I was there with the console playing and you kind of get to experience that when you watch the film.”

Clemens says working on Silent Hill Revelation:3D was “a physical challenge. One of the final sequence shots is of me running through the ashes.  They had one camera at one end and one at the other and I had to run probably like a mile – mile and a half to run.  And they would have a technical glitch in the camera and would have to stop.  But I was running and I couldn’t hear them and I would get to the other end and they would say “we didn’t get it we have to do it again” and I would have to run back and do it all over.  But that was also so exciting.  I enjoyed it.  I loved every minute of it.”

Director says to expect “creatures from the first film and the game in this film.  Fan favorites are in there.  In the game the monsters exist because of something in the mind of the character.  We do have old monsters, new monsters, very frightening monsters.”

Check out all the monsters and enter the terrifying world of “Silent Hill Revelation: 3D” when it opens in the U.S. on October 26th.  for more info on the film check out

“All of us, at some point, ponder our roots. We question whether those before us had anything to do with how we ended up. Most never learn the truth — they are the lucky ones. Many realize that they should have left well enough alone.”  So says Author Jeff Mudgett in his book “Bloodstains”.

“Bloodstains”, the true life horror story about a moral man forced to address the atrocities of his ancestor, H.H. Holmes, perhaps the most evil man who ever lived. The author’s quest for knowledge turns into obscession, then a struggle for sanity and finally survival itself… as his identity becomes inter-connected with the evil genes he inherited from the monster himself. The conclusion will leave readers questioning the good and bad of their own roots. Jeff Mudgett is the Great Great Grandson of Herman Mudgett, aka H.H. Holmes, The Devil in The White City, America’s first and most horrible serial killer. A true evil genius. The author learned of his ancestry during a family dinner when he was forty years old. Before that time he practiced criminal law in the State of California, having graduated from the University of San Diego in 1986.  It wasn’t until that dinner that he first learned he was the direct descendant of perhaps the most evil man that ever lived, possibly even Jack the Ripper. Once he did, Jeff went on the adventure of a lifetime, from one end of the country to the other, following every lead secret family heirlooms gave him. He now       spends his time searching for the truth, as well as writing his second book, Before the Eyes of Men, a historical novel about Spanish Gold on the California Coast. For more information, please log on to

Mudgett will be at the 2012 Las Vegas Paracon at Bonnie Springs Ranch on August 31st to September 2nd talking about the origins of evil and discussing his new book.  For more information on tickets to the 2012 Las Vegas Paracon, visit

Tom Bridegroom died in an accident.

Tom died in an accident.

You think nothing could be worse than losing a loved one but it gets much worse if you have no rights.

For more information read BRIDEGROOM – An American Love Story
A Documentary project in Los Angeles, CA by Linda Bloodworth Thomason

Why We Want to Make this Documentary: BRIDEGROOM, will tell the emotional journey of Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship – a relationship that was cut tragically short by a misstep off the side of a roof. The story of what happened after this accidental death– of how people without the legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracized– is poignant, enraging and opens a window onto the issue of marriage equality like no speech or lecture ever will.

On May 7, 2012, the anniversary of Tom’s death, Shane made a video tribute to his greatest love entitled “It Could Happen To You.” This film, posted on YouTube, has gotten over 2.7 million hits and inspired over 50 thousand e-mails and comments on YouTube and Facebook. The impact of Shane’s original film and the raw nerve it touched for so many, tells us this is an important story that needs to be told… and told now.
