Spirit of the Suwannee Disc Jams 6 set for June 28-29 at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park

FL SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA – Spirit of the Suwannee Disc Jams 6 is coming with flying discs and lots of music June 28-29 at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Fla! If you haven’t tried disc golf, this is the weekend to give it a try!
Promoters have unveiled the daily music schedule featuring Dangermuffin, COPE, The Whiskey Gentry, Boukou Groove, Sweet Knievel, New Earth Army, Captain Green and Motha Shmuckas Budda Crackas. Fans can expect a great weekend of live music, disc golf and oh so much more with tickets starting at $35.
Set in the midst of 800 acres of Spanish moss-draped oak and cypress along the tea-colored Suwannee River, the SOSMP is recognized as one of the most spectacular destinations for music, camping and disc golf in the US. Since music doesn’t begin until early evening, guests may take full advantage of all the SOSMP has to offer including canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, bike trails, geocaching, a bird sanctuary, honey bee exhibit, the world’s largest bat house and much more.
$35 adv/$45 gate for music and primitive camping
$40 adv/$50 gate for amateur division disc golf tourney, music and primitive camping
$50 adv/$60 gate for pro division disc golf tourney, music and primitive camping

Friday, June 28

* The Whiskey Gentry: 9:15 – 10:30 p.m.
* Dangermuffin: 11 p.m. -1 a.m.
Saturday, June 29
* Motha Shmuckas Budda Crackas: 4 -5:15 p.m.
* Sweet Knievel: 5:45 – 7 p.m.
* New Earth Army: 7:30 – 8:45 p.m.
* Captain Green: 9:15 -10:30 p.m.
* COPE: 11 p.m. -1:30 a.m.
Also performing in the Music Hall that weekend will be the second Texaco Country Showdown pre-finals contest Friday, June 28, with Jamie Davis and his band Saturday night, June 29. Free admission.
Beginning June 18 the superb SOS Café and Restaurant at the SOSMP is open Tuesday through Saturday with a daily $5.95 lunch buffet and dinner available evenings/closed Sunday and Monday. Also on June 18, Ted “Teddy Mac Elvis” McMullen’s karaoke moves to Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Doors open to the Music Hall at 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday for karaoke with music beginning at 7 p.m. All other days the Music Hall opens at 6 p.m, music begins at 8 p.m. except during special events.

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is centrally located at 3076 95th Drive 4.5 miles north of Live Oak, Fl off US 129 at the famous Suwannee River. The SOSMP is 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 and 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 off US 129. Keep an eye out for the SOSMP sign and white painted board fence! We’ll be looking for you!
