Actor Misha Collins was on hand at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con to talk all things “Supernatural” but also found time to stop by Conival at Petco Park to talk about his Gishwhes project.
The actor, who had filmed all night and took an early morning flight just to be at the event, was in good spirits and clearly loves interacting with his fans. At the Geek & Sundry Conival event at Petco Park, the talk turned to Collins’ pet project Gishwhes (the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen).
It’s a massive scavenger Hunt that takes place the first week of August. Players compete from anywhere in the world, including their own home, creating weird and beautiful “art” online and in the world, doing crazy fun activities, and committing heartwarming acts of kindness. The hunt to date has broken Guiness world records 7 times and sees thousands of people from more than 100 countries forming teams and competing for prizes each year in the first week of August.
As Collins said, one of the best things about Gishwhes is that people meet and become teammates from all over the world and become great friends in the process.
While the 2016 hunt is over, check out their website at www.gishwhes.com for information on the hunt and updates on how to register from 2017!
