Still giving a new definition of what is “California sound,” All Day Sucker, performed on Thursday, March 11, at The Viper Room opening for popular UK band, Charly Coombs & The New Breed. Later on both bands kicked it up a notch on stage together with an
“all-star” set collaborating with special guests, lead singer and guitarist, Dave Grohl, and keyboardist, Rami Jaffe, of The Foo Fighters. Check out the “all star” colabo doing a humorous cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together” by clicking here***.
ADS performed the following night, Friday, March 12, again opening for Charly Coombs & The New Breed at L.A.’s speakeasy The R Bar. LAMusicBlog.com was there to cover the event and wrote a live review on the intimate ADS show, which you can read here.
ADS has released their sophomore collection, The Big Pretend, which is a full length bona fide concept album written by Coyle and Summers that shows their pride in L.A. even as it pokes fun at the occasional ridiculousness and idiosyncrasies of a city. Where everyone has some connection to the film industry.
