After missing for four years, a Baton Rouge son, Nicholas Mark Randal (Marc-Andre Grondin) suddenly reappears and tries to reconnect with his fractured family.  Local FBI agent Jennifer Johnson (Famke Janssen) realizes the details of his sudden appearance don’t quite add up.  As pieces of the mysterious puzzle fall together, an unveiled past reveals deep and dark secrets.

Based on the book “Le Cameleon: L’invraisemblable histoire de Frederic Bourdin” by journalist Christophe D’Antonio, the film details the true life story of Frederic Bourdin who travelled for years under false identities searching for the love and affection he had never been given as a child.

The film, directed by Jean-Paul Salome is a very raw look at not only the extraordinary life of this experience liar, but also a gripping and often heartbreaking look at a family that is struggling to come to grips with the return of a family member they thought was gone forever.  Nick Stahl, Nick Chinlund and Brian Geraghty all round out this very believable and relatable cast.

THE CHAMELEON opens in theatres on July 8, 2011.

An excellent supporting cast including Ellen Barkin and Emily De Ravin as the mother and sister coming to grips with trying to fit Nick
