“Battle Of The Bands” Charity Fundraiser to bring out celebs in Los Angeles.

Club Nokia, located in Los Angeles’ new downtown “L.A. Live” complex will host a “Battle of the Bands” charity fundraiser on Tuesday, May 11th, which is sure to attract celebs and fans alike.
The event is a fundraiser for A Place Called Home – a non-profit youth center in central Los Angeles which provides at-risk youth with a secure, positive family environment where they can regain hope and belief, earn trust and self-respect and learn skills to lead to a productive lifestyle free of the gangs, drugs and poverty that surround them.
Emceeing the fundraiser will be Christopher “Kid” Reid best known as half of the hip hop group “Kid ‘n Play”. Celebrity Judges will include Kim Coles (“Living Single”), Allison Hagendorf (“Fuse Top 20 Countdown”) and Bob Guiney (“The Bachelor”).
The bands competing in this year’s competition will feature musicians who hold day jobs with cable operators, networks, suppliers and the media. This year’s competition will feature:

The Streamers
One Night in NOLA
A special performance by Band From TV will round out the evening. Band From TV includes a fantastic lineup of actors from some of your favorite television programs – Greg Grunberg (“Heroes”), James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”), Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes”), Bob Guiney (“The Bachelor”), Jesse Spencer (“House”), Scott Grimes (“American Dad”) and more!
