Could your band use a little extra cash for travel? Want to be able to say you won over a bunch of great bands in the Battle of the Bands at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Fla? The Sept. 7 Battle of the Bands at the SOSMP will produce a winning band that will walk away with bragging rights, a $1,000 grand prize and a booking date at the SOSMP‘s Music Hall! It doesn’t get much better than this!

How do you win it? First you sign up right away by calling Brittney at the SOSMP at 386-364-1683 or Teena at 386-365-3315! You may also email them at brittney@musicliveshere.com or teena@musicliveshere.com. All entries must include a demo CD or MP3, entry forms completely filled out and signed by all band members and be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 2, 2013. All bands entering must be at the SOSMP by 6 p.m. Sept. 7 and be available from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. to play. Rules and regulations will be provided to each band.

If you plan to bring a crowd of friends, fans and relatives to the show to cheer you on, make plans now to rent overnight accommodations and enjoy the SOSMP for the weekend.
