While cruising the net I found the band Laboratory Noise. Intrigued by the name I looked them up on MySpace. What I found was music composed of intricate layers elegantly woven into a delicate cascade of sound.
Absolutely not the kind of music I listen but, the complex sound intrigued me. This is what I found out about Laboratory Noise.
Their genre is listed as psychedelic/shoegaze/alternative. Shoegaze??? Nope, never heard of it, thankfully Wikipedia had.
The shoegazing sound is typified by significant use of guitar effects, and indistinguishable vocal melodies that blended into the creative noise of the guitars. The British music press named this style shoegazing because the musicians in these bands stood relatively still during live performances in a detached, introspective, non-confrontational state, hence the idea that they were gazing at their shoes Wikipedia
Tracks from their CD ‘When Sound Generates Light’ a 1000 limited edition debut album can be heard on their MySpace page. The songs earned them my highest rank, This Music Doesn’t Suck.
The two songs that stood out for me were “Here She Is Evergreen” and “Tesla”. “Telsa” is very soothing and at the same time invigorating.

One other thing I’d prefer to say is that often newer computer os’s have a tendency to allow far more memory to be played with, but they likewise demand more memory space simply to perform. If a person’s computer can’t handle a lot more memory and the newest software program requires that ram increase, it usually is the time to shop for a new PC. Thanks
