“TRUE BLOOD” was everywhere at the 2010 Comic Con in San Diego. Along with a standing room only panel featuring some of the cast and creators of the hit show, there was also a packed autograph signing in the Warner Bros. booth. The Fire Marshall for San Diego nearly had to close the signing down as thousands of fans packed around the booth to get a glimpse of their fave “TRUE BLOOD” actors and creator Alan Ball and writer Charlaine Harris, on whose books the show is based.
But the BLOOD innundation didn’t end there! “TRUE BLOOD” also hosted the annual Comic Con Masquerade and were sponsors of the San Diego Blood Bank’s annual Blood Drive where donors were given a limited edition “My Blood Is True” T-Shirt.
Season 3 of the hit show is well under way and if you haven’t yet caught the fever, tune into HBO on Sundays at 9pm to see what all the fuss is about.
Mark… “Shattered Glass” was a film that stayed in my mind for months after viewing it. I have a friend who buys films for a major distributor who passed on it but he definitely missed out. It’s a film that makes you think… and think… Especially in the Internet age, people like Stephen Glass are out there. I may have to Smackdown “Shattered Glass” against “The Hoax,” yes? Bryce

01 Aug 18, 2007 8:13 am I just read a blog yesterday that was raving about Stardust being one of the best movies in recent months. That person, like yourself, went in with no expectations and came out with a smile. I will definitely have to check it out! I went to see a production of “A Few Good Men” at a local theatre last night. I absolutely love plays. I have season subscriptions to two different theatres, so I get to see lots of them! It’s a real shame that I always have to go by myself!I hope you’re having a great weekend, friend!

Also… Man o man does the Lakers offense suffer when Blake is playing PG. Many times they couldn’t get into any actions until the shot clock got into single digits. It was pretty pathetic for a so called NBA lead guard (which he isn’t). Again. He is a spot up shooter. Not a true PG. Not fair to ask that of Steve. I feel for him. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod.
