“TRUE BLOOD” was everywhere at the 2010 Comic Con in San Diego.  Along with a standing room only panel featuring some of the cast and creators of the hit show,  there was also a packed autograph signing in the Warner Bros. booth.  The Fire Marshall for San Diego nearly had to close the signing down as thousands of fans packed around the booth to get a glimpse of their fave “TRUE BLOOD” actors and creator Alan Ball and writer Charlaine Harris, on whose books the show is based.

But the BLOOD innundation didn’t end there!  “TRUE BLOOD” also hosted the annual Comic Con Masquerade and were sponsors of the San Diego Blood Bank’s annual Blood Drive where donors were given a limited edition “My Blood Is True” T-Shirt.

Season 3 of the hit show is well under way and if you haven’t yet caught the fever, tune into HBO on Sundays at 9pm to see what all the fuss is about.

  1. Are you referring to the sensitive-sensitize error (which I only noticed after I read your comment) or is there something else I missed?I’m not familiar with Gramsci’s experience in the gulag, but from the way you describe it, living in his thoughts would be a highly adaptive way of coping with his suffering. If he was able to find a space where he could “live” and function, as a respite from pain, it would be another example of how essential defense mechanisms are for all of us. We NEED them, and sometimes, relying on a defense mechanism can lead to immense creative achievements.

  2. If you read the fine print, most boat/mooring covers say they are not intended for use while trailering. However, if the cover is well made and has good support and is well secured, I’ve pulled boats 50-100 miles with no damage. Lighter covers well not take the winds you are suggesting. I’d think about shrink rapping like the factory does when shipping. And, I’d slowdown to 55 or so. You’ll save fuel and reduce the stress on boat and trailer. Good Luck!

  3. Ciao Marchetto!!!

  4. I completely agree with jaycroft. I’ve never been on one of those expeditions myself, but I know a good dozen or so who have and know enough from their stories that Hahn and Phinjo are extraordinarily lucky that they didn’t perish. The entire route above basecamp is “precarious” and is littered with corpses of both the experienced and novice for whom luck was against.

  6. Bravo Kelley!! Er, uh, well, you know what I'm trying to say!! I look forward to your insight and non-foodie commentary on a decidedly foodie show! And DO-SHARE that D-CUPcake recipe no matter how horrible or irrelevant you think it was… Just the name alone has New-Years-Eve-Party "Best-In-Show"-caliber party-favor written all over it! 😉

  7. Great blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Many thanks!

  8. hi terri, thanks for replying. I live in Kuching. I only see Sweetened Creamers here. I've called up F&N Dairies, only to be informed that "Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk" has been discontinued. Apparently it's a price controlled item, and it is no longer feasible to produce due to rising costs of milk. They're substituting it with "F&N Sweetened Vitaminised Milk". I have not tried this.

  9. that, permit me reveal to you what exactly did give good results. The authoring is actually rather convincing and this is most likely the reason why I am taking the effort to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, even though I can easily see a jumps in logic you make, I am not necessarily confident of how you appear to connect your points which inturn produce your final result. For right now I shall subscribe to your point but trust in the near future you actually link your facts much better.
