This is an official notice that LimeWire is under a court-ordered injunction to stop distributing and supporting its file-sharing software. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization is illegal. Source Limewire.com

The end of an era. The court found that the file sharing service was guilty of copyright infringement.
The RIAA stated, “It is patently obvious that the rampant illegal conduct that LimeWire intentionally induced…” LimeWire was found liable for massive copyright infringement a few weeks back.
