Hollywood, CA :New music industry champion, The Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) announced today Club Nokia, located in the center of the entertainment capital of the world, L.A. LIVE, is the new home of its annual awards event.
The HMMAs accelerated growth and stature over the past two years, in addition to being courted by AEG, owner of the massive LA Live complex, were factors for the move.
“The Hollywood & Highland complex was a great home for the HMMA for the last two years,” explains HMMA Executive Producer and Co-Founder Jim DeCicco. “The larger capacity of Club Nokia, plus its state-of-the-art acoustics, technological capabilities, lush amenities and world-renowned stature of the venue all factored in this decision. We are very excited to have the HMMA event at LA LIVE!”
In addition to the November 11 awards show, the HMMA will hold a industry mixer at the new Ritz Hotel in the evening of Friday, November 12 and the all-day Music In Media Symposium (MIMISYM) on Saturday, November 13 at the complex. The three days of activities will provide a full, comprehensive experience for the international crowd the HMMA attracts.
The Hollywood Music in Media Awards recognizes and honors the music of visual mediums, the talented individuals responsible for it, and the music of artists, both mainstream and independent, from around the globe.
