Moe will be performing at the 15th Annual Magnolia Fest Oct. 20-23 brings dozens of Americana artists to The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park.

SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA Many of your favorite artists will return for the 15th Annual Magnolia Fest Oct. 20 – 23 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fla along with some who will be performing at Magnolia Fest for the first time. Lucinda Williams and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are the headliners. Also performing will be Jim Lauderdale, moe., The Mosier Brothers, Donna the Buffalo, The Travelin’ McCourys, Keller Williams, Infamous Krewe (Toubab with others), 7 Walkers, Railroad Earth, Anders Osborne, The Lee Boys, Papa Grows Funk, Col. Bruce Hampton and The Quark Alliance, Honey Island Swamp Band, Tornado Rider, Galen Kipar Project, Cornmeal, Dread Clampitt, Thomas and The Believers, Truth & Salvage Co., Grayson Capps, New Orleans Suspects and Quartermoon and the Sloppy Joe Band. 7 Walkers

Four Bands will perform Thursday night beginning at 6 p.m., including Klob, Thomas Wynn and the Believers, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Pharoah Gummitt and the 7 Walkers. Music begins at noon Friday and Saturday and continues until! The Travelin’ McCourys will host an all-star jam Friday night right before moe. takes the stage for the first of their two performances of the weekend. Also Friday night, Lucinda Williams will perform. Saturday, Anders Osborne will make his first appearance at Magnolia Fest along with several other great artists from New Orleans who will be playing throughout the weekend. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones will take the amphitheater stage Saturday night from 8 – 9:30 p.m. followed by a JAM until 11:50 p.m. then more music with moe. in the meadow.

Sunday is Vassar Clements Day. Music begins in the amphitheater at 11 a .m. with the Acoustic Ensemble, followed by The Lee Boys, Mosier Brothers, Emmy winner Jim Lauderdale, Cornmeal and bringing the festival to a close will be Donna the Buffalo.

4 Day Festival with camping – $180 at the gate; $165 through Oct. 18

Saturday and Sunday (includes primitive camping and service fees and sales tax, children 12 and under free), available at the gate only – $125.

 

Single Day tickets (no camping, all service fees and sales tax included

The Lee Boys

All ticket sales final, rain or shine, no refunds. Festival-style seating, first come, first serve. Please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. A drum site will be available with drumming allowed at that site only.

A New Orleans style parade will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning. You are invited to decorate your golf carts and join everyone in the parade. Activities all day as well as scheduled events at the Kids’ Tent, Yoga in the meadow and a new dining area at the Food Vending Village. Join us for a great weekend of music, love, family and friendship!

The SOS Café and Restaurant will be open during this event and will have available the regular menu of delicious food and beverages. The restaurant will be open only to Magnolia Fest guests during this weekend with no regular Friday and Saturday night events scheduled in the Music Hall.

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is located at 3076 95th Drive 4.5 miles north of Live Oak, Fl off US 129 at the famous Suwannee River. The park is 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 and 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 off US 129. Keep an eye out for the SOSMP sign and white painted board fence!
